WASHINGTON -- Red Auerbach, the Hall of Fame coach who led the Boston Celtics to nine NBA championships in the 1950s and 1960s, died Saturday. He was 89.
My name is Alan Abrams. I am a rabbi and a chaplain, as well as an educator of chaplains (supervisor in the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education). I'm also a doctoral student at NYU. I live in Jerusalem. I'm interested in what it means to be Jewish in a multi-faith world of chaplaincy and spiritual care. I'm interested in how people can be nurtured to become effective spiritual caregivers. I'm interested in finding out how I can become a person who can better Walk in the Way of God.
